This course walks students through the process of creating a comprehensive plan that includes home safety, emotional safety, medication safety, and caregiver safety. This course covers how to remove or adjust hazards from the homes of patients to keep them out of harms way both physically (i.e. through locking cabinets and drawers to limit access to items such as cleaning products) and emotionally (i.e. staying away from activities that are known to cause the patient unnecessary frustration)
