This course is intensely focused on just what caregivers can and should do if they suspect that abuse, neglect, or exploitation is taking place. Students will learn about why seniors, quite frequently, do not report abuse and how to help elders overcome their fears using a variety of tools. Provided throughout this course are resources that caregivers can use should they find themselves needing to report abuse, neglect, or exploitation of the elderly.
