This course will cover the basic information for caregivers on the techniques and process the process of prevention and control of infections. The content of this course was developed to assist caregivers in understanding their roles in preventing and managing the spread of communicable diseases among the patients they care for. The course will also explore safety measures and techniques to help create a safe working environment for both the caregivers and the patients. Students will receive thorough instruction on HIPAA and privacy laws and the role of caregivers in maintaining them.
