This course will offer an overview of caregiver responsibilities and their scope of work in four main categories of services provided by caregivers that include assisting with personal care, assisting with managing incontinence, assisting with patient transport, and assisting with patient feeding. This course can be taken by professional caregivers, family caregivers as well as anyone who has direct contact with patients or who assists patients in their daily activities of living. The goal of this course is to equip participants with basic knowledge of caregiver responsibilities when assisting a patient in activities of daily living and demonstrate proper techniques to use when to assist patients every day.
